Happy Anniversary to Us!
One year ago today, we said our vows, escaped a downpour, partied with friends and family, and all in all had a great time as we committed to spending the rest of our lives together. Thanks for an amazing and wonderful year! Happy anniversary to us!
P.S. The cake is the only wedding-related photo I have with me at the moment. Maybe I'll post more later...

yay! did you guys do that thing where you save the top of the cake? i kind of think that's gross, but if it's still tasty after a year, hey, i'm impressed.
Happy Anniversary to our favorite son and daughter-in-law. We can't believe it's been a year already! Your wedding was so much fun it seems like yesterday. Brian, we are so very happy that you brought MS into our family. We wish you lots of love and many, many happy years together.

We did save the top layer, through no fault of our own, and we ate a few bites of it on Monday in addition to a fresh new replica cake we ordered from the same baker. The year-old cake was actually decent! Awesome baker (Josh and Erica should TOTALLY book her!) + talented cake wrapper (aka, Drunk Kent) = Tasty Year-Old Cake.
I'll see if we can post some photos of our anniversary dinner spread tonight.
